RECIPE OF TODAY: HOW TO MAKE CREAMY CARAMEL PUDDING

Pudding is a sweet dish, often made from sugar, milk, cornstarch flour, and flavoring, and usually eaten after a meal.(dessert).There are different types of pudding, today let us see the yummy and flavorsome caramel custard pudding.


INGREDIENTS

Sugar- ¾ cup + 2 tbs for caramel
Milk- 2 and ½ cups
Eggs -3
Vanilla Essence- 1.5 tsp

STEP BY STEP PICTURE INSTUCTIONS/ DIRECTIONS

-Pre-heat the oven for 180 degree for 10 minutes

1.)Take a wide pan , add 2 tbs of sugar (2) Add little water and (3) let the sugar melt  from medium to low heat until golden brown (4)Carefully spread the caramel in the  whole pan. Leave it to cool down.


5)Heat up the milk (6) in a mixing bowl, break the eggs (7) Add 3/4 cup of sugar (8)Add vanilla essence.
9)Add milk to the eggs mixture (10)combine them well (11)Strain the mixture, and pour on the prepared pan
12)Pour the milk,egg,vanilla mixture on top of caramel pan (13)Pour some water for ½ inch on the baking tray and (14) keep the pan (15) Bake in the pre-heated oven for 180 degree for 20 minutes.

  • Remove from heat and keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
      • Flip the pudding pan upside down

      • Now caramel pudding is ready! Serve cold

      • NOTE:
         You can also steam the pudding, instead of baking, you can keep them in the pressure cooker by adding ½ inch water, put the lid on top, it will take 15 to 20 minutes to cook. See the below picture
